Bloomin' Festival 
Held the third weekend in April
Over 150 exhibitors from around the southeast are on hand to display and sell their works.  Held n the grounds of Saint Bernard Prep School, adjacent to the world famous Ave Maria Grotto, the festival also offers live entertainment by local talent, outstanding concessions , informative displays and live exhibitions.

Peinhardt Living History Farm Days
October
Peinhardt Edgewood Farm is primarily an evolving family farm focusing on rural life in the 1930's and 1940's. Farm days educate students on what life was like as a farmer in those days.

Indian Festival
Second weekend in June
This festival, held at Smith Lake Park and sponsored by the Echota Cherokee Tribe, features drums, Indian dancers, arts & crafts, basket weaving, pottery-making, flint-knapping, hide-tanning, and jewelry-making.  Enjoy fry bread, Indian tacos, roasted corn and many other foods and drinks.

Oktoberfest
First full week of October
Special meals, choir performances and music events are held during the week at locations throughout the community. Streets in downtown Cullman are roped off for weekend activities which include more German food, arts & crafts shows and sales, live bands and entertainers, historic district tours, retail store specials, and the Burgermeister Ball.  Cullman's Oktoberfest is truly a family event with no alcohol allowed.

Cullman County Agricultural Center
The Ag Center is the focal point of many music events , sports competitions, far exhibitions and family activities for a four-county area.  A sampling of events include rodeos; dog agility shows; bluegrass and gospel festivals; Racking, Walking and Quarter Horse shows; 4-H events; outdoor exhibitions and Boer goat shows.

Fourth of July Fireworks
Smith Lake Park hosts a number of special events and festivals throughout the year including a spectacular Forth of July fireworks show.  The park also features tent and RV camping, a swimming pool, boat launch, miniature golf and more.

Alabama Gourd Festival
Mid-October

Shop the beautiful vendor booths featuring amazing arts & crafts made from gourds, tour the ribbon competition exhibit hall, take a gourd art crafting class to make your very own handcrafted gourd. Watch artists do free demonstrations of their crafts, and enjoy food and live entertainment.
